The Single Ferrule Bite Type Hydraulic Fitting is a flare less three-piece design fitting comprising of a Socket body having a precision conical seat, a one-piece precision machined hardened Progressive Ring (ferrule) and a Coupling Nut. When the Coupling Nut is progressively tightened it makes the Progressive Ring to move on to the tube which subsequently makes two bites into the outside diameter of the pipe, thereby forming a visible collar of material at A, ensuring a strong, reliable, high degree of safety and permanent sealing due to the outstanding construction & design of our progressive ring.
These Hydraulic fittings which are Single Ferrule Bite Type Fittings are the most widely used fittings in the world. These Hydraulic fittings are flareless bite type metric fittings, Single ferrule type, that consists of a body, progressive ring (ferrule) and nut. On assembly, two cutting edges of the ferrule “bite” into the outer surface of the tube ensuring the necessary holding power for high operating pressures. Features These HYDRAULIC FITTINGS and accessories (Three Series)are manufactured in accordance with DIN 2353 for fluid application The three components of Single Ferrule Bite Type Hydraulic Fittings are designed to produce a strong, reliable, leak-free joint upon proper assembly. These Hydraulic fittings or Hydraulic Couplings are best suited for steel, copper or stainless steel tubes where brazing, soldering, welding, flaring or threading is not possible or permissible
These Hydraulic Fittings are generally manufactured as per the relevant as per industry standards, the most prominent standard being the DIN : 2353 standards. When the fittings are desinged as per DIN 2353 standards the threads, dimensions and profile of the fitting body, The Nut and the Ermeto Ferrules are such that the bodies, Nuts and Ferrules of any brand or multiple brands can be interchanged.
Hydraulic DIN 2353 single ferrule fittings, also known as compression fittings, are commonly used in hydraulic systems to create leak-tight connections between pipes, tubes, and hoses. These fittings consist of three main components: the body, the cutting ring (single ferrule), and the nut. Here’s how they work:

The Hydraulic fittings earlier used to be offered in this finish. This type has now been discontinued and now the fittings are offered in Zinc Silver plated finish. However, this finish can be supplied in case it is compulsorily required. These can be supplied against order provided sufficient quantity is given.
